My new T2i

After 2 month's of hard work in the office, photoshooting around campus, and self-marketing, I finally had enough money to afford Canon's Rebel T2i.  With surprising 18MP sensor and 1080p movie capabilities, as professional photographer and friend Patrick Ang had put it, this is "one bad ass camera."  I spent the last two weeks trying to figure out the best settings to shoot at, and after much exploration I think I've figured it out.  Though the examples below aren't shot at this "desired" setting, I think they exemplify the quality of this "entry-level" DSLR. Comment and let me know what you think! Click on each image to see a larger example!

*all photos were shot with an 18-55 f/3.5-5.6 IS kit lens*
*light photoshop work done to the photos*
*dog photos were taken by my girlfriend, Christina Mai* Nice photos hun!

Gospel Choir

For those of you who haven't seen Dartmouth's Gospel Choir, you MUST check out their performances.  The soul and power within each song sends shivers running through peoples' spines. In the special performances given this past Thursday and Friday, the Gospel Choir teamed up with Dartmouth's top three idol contestants to put on an epic performance.  Not only is one able to enjoy the sound of beautiful voices harmonizing with one another, but is also able to stand up and groove to the beats as recommended by Gospel Choir coordinator, Walt Cunningham Jr. When the next opportunity arises, hurry and buy those Gospel Choir tickets before they sell out and experience a performance of a lifetime!
